Dog Bites and Attacks

Dog and animal attacks represent some of the most devastating personal injuries anyone can suffer. Statistics show that every year the number of personsDogBite2 injured increases from a bite or knockdown from an aggressive dog. Unfortunately, the majority of  these victims are children.  Dog attacks can be life-altering events that frequently cause nerve damage,  permanent scars and psychological trauma. You need to call us if you or a family member have suffered injury in dog or animal attack so we can investigate to determine if there was a violation of the Dog Law or if there was negligence or recklessness. In Pennsylvania, a dog does not get “one free bite” (regardless of what others say) before the dog owner will be held responsible. In almost all cases,  a dog owner is liable if the dog is unleashed and not under control if the dog owner was aware of the dog’s dangerous propensity to harm others.
